Australian Review of Applied Linguistics (ARAL)

The Australian Review of Applied Linguistics is the journal of ALAA. The journal aims to promote the development of links between language related research and its application in education, professional, and other language related settings.

Areas covered by the journal includes:

  • first and second language teaching and learning
  • bilingualism and bilingual education
  • discourse analysis
  • translation and interpreting
  • language testing
  • language planning and policy

ARAL is a peer reviewed journal and is published three times a year.
